The "Kite Lamp" is a sculptural mood light that can be used as a table light as well as a floor light. This lamp is completely handmade from its frame to its facade. The frame is made in powder coated metal, that is hand bent by local blacksmiths. The facade is created by Handmade Paper. The lamp depicts foliage and the bird’s relation with nature. Inspired from abstract geometry with the mix of the traditional, Gond painting gives the lamp a dynamic touch. The form of the lamp has been derived from the action of a bird which is about to take off. The lid can be easily taken off to access the light bulb inside. |
